Transferring a Professional Training Agreement
The Board has determined
that when a graduate surveyor changes employment and/or Supervising Surveyor, he/she is required to submit a new Professional Training Agreement that is to be signed with a Licensed Surveyor in the new position of employment to ensure that a Licensed Surveyor undertakes appropriate supervision of any outstanding training days, projects/surveys and certifies the biannual report modules for level of competency.
A transfer of Professional Training Agreement is therefore required in the following circumstances:
- when the graduate surveyor has not completed the minimum number of training days
- when the graduate surveyor has completed the minimum number of training days, but has not yet successfully completed all the required practical projects/surveys.
An application for a new Professional Training Agreement
is to be accompanied by a final bi-annual report, including
the competency modules from the previous supervising surveyor.
FORM 4 - Completion of PTA (Part or Full) is
also required to certify the number of training days completed.
These documents will support any application, made after completion
of projects/surveys, for exemption from training days.

documents are available in Microsoft Word (MS Word) and Adobe Acrobat
