Professional Conduct
Under the Surveying Act 2004, the Board has a responsibility to investigate the professional conduct or fitness to practise of Licensed Surveyors and impose sanctions where necessary. Such investigations are carried out in accordance with the Board's complaints procedures.
The Board may also settle a matter regarding a Licensed Surveyor's professional conduct by agreement between the Board and the Licensed Surveyor.
Finally, the Board may investigate and prosecute offences against the Surveying Act 2004 and any regulations made under the Act.
